This recipe is for an individual serving size just double or however much it when making for multiple people. Put in whatever kind of protein you’d like the shrimps are totally optional.
Easy 10 minute dinner.
Ingredients
- 2 dry flat ribbon noodles nest or Dao Xiao Mian
- 1 teaspoon chili oil
- 2 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon black vinegar
- 1 tablespoon peanut butter
- 1/3 cup chopped green onions
- 6 cloves garlic
- cilantro to garnish
- 5 to 6 shrimps
- 1 teaspoon oyster sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
Directions
- Put pot of water on for noodles.
- In a bowl combine chili oil, soy sauce, black vinegar and peanut butter and whisk together to combine. Add in minced garlic (4 cloves) and green onion.
- In another pan or small pot pour 1/3 cup of neutral oil and heat it — add in a little garlic to check the heat — if the garlic turns slightly golden then the oil is ready.
- Pour the oil into the bowl with your mixture in and drain and add in noodles and give it a quick toss — make sure everything gets incorporated.
- For the shrimp — in a pan add in a tablespoon of oil and add in shrimp give it a quick sauté add in some salt and grate in 2 garlic cloves and the oyster sauce it should be cooked through in less than 4 minutes.
- Add shrimp to the noodles and garnish with cilantro and sesame seeds.
- Shrimp can be substituted with anything else mince chicken/beef/mushrooms or even tofu.
